전북특별자치도 출범이 25일 앞으로 다가온 가운데 전북도는 128년의 역사를 새기고 더 특별한 전북자치도로 대전환해 비상하기 위한 첫 출발점인 출범 기념행사 준비에 심혈을 기울이고 있다.
또한 전북자치도의 범국민 인지도 확산을 위한 온·오프라인 이벤트 진행 등 전방위적 홍보활동을 전개하며 분위기를 끌어올리고 있다.
도에 따르면 전북특별자치도 출범식은 내년 1월 18일 오전 한국소리문화의전당에서 도내·외 각계 인사를 비롯해 도민 2천여명이 참석해 자치도의 첫걸음을 시작한다는 것.
도는 출범 하루 전 도청 야외광장에서 도민 5천여 명이 참석해 ‘특별한 시작을 알리는 전야제’와 각 시·군에서도 ‘함께하는 시군 축하 행사’를 개최해 출범 분위기를 한껏 끌어올리기로 했다.
전야제에서는 출범 희망 메시지 사인 퍼포먼스와 함께 14개 시군과 도민들이 만든 플래시몹(Flash mob) 영상과 공연, 도청 외관을 스크린으로 삼은 미디어 파사드와 드론·레이저 쇼, 미디어 불꽃놀이 등이 펼쳐져 겨울밤을 화려하게 수놓을 예정이다. (중략)

Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Launch Ceremony to Be Held on January 18 at the Sori Arts Center of Jeolla

With only 25 days remaining until the launch of Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, the Jeonbuk Provincial Government is devoting considerable effort to preparing the commemorative events that will mark the beginning of a major transformation. The launch represents the first step toward honoring the region’s 128-year history and advancing into a more distinctive and dynamic Jeonbuk.

The province is also building momentum through comprehensive promotional activities, including online and offline events aimed at increasing nationwide awareness of Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province.

According to the provincial government, the official launch ceremony will be held on the morning of January 18 next year at the Sori Arts Center of Jeolla. Approximately 2,000 people, including residents and representatives from various sectors within and outside the province, are expected to attend and witness the autonomous province take its first step.

On the day before the official launch, approximately 5,000 residents will gather at the outdoor plaza of the provincial government complex for a pre-launch celebration titled “An Eve Announcing a Special Beginning.” Each city and county will also hold a local event under the theme “Celebrating Together Across Cities and Counties,” further heightening the festive atmosphere.

The pre-launch celebration will feature a message-signing performance expressing hopes for the province’s new beginning, as well as flash-mob videos and live performances created by residents from Jeonbuk’s 14 cities and counties.

A media facade using the exterior of the provincial government building as a projection screen, drone and laser shows, and digital fireworks will also illuminate the winter night in a spectacular display.
