충북도가 민선9기 주요 정책에 전문가와 현장 의견을 반영하기 위한 정책자문위원회를 출범시켰다.
도는 16일 도청 대회의실에서 '민선9기 정책자문위원회 위촉식 및 전체회의'를 열고 장일상 한국여성소비자연대 충북지회장을 위원장으로 위촉했다.
정책자문위는 기획행정, 안전·소방, 보건·복지·여성, 경제, AI과학, 바이오, 농축산, 문화·관광·체육, 균형발전, 기후환경 등 10개 분과 141명의 전문가로 구성됐다.
위원들은 민선9기 전반기 동안 각 분야의 전문성과 경험을 바탕으로 도정 주요 현안과 정책 방향에 대해 자문하고 정책을 제안하는 역할을 맡는다.
신용한 지사는 위촉식에서 위원들에게 직접 위촉장을 전달하고 민선9기 도정 방향을 설명했다.
신 지사는 "현장의 목소리를 정책에 담아내는 일이 얼마나 무겁고 값진 소임인지 누구보다 잘 알고 있다"며 "민선9기 충북은 '충북 대전환, 민생 실용 충북'을 목표로 형식보다 실천을, 속도보다 방향을, 말보다 결과로 증명하는 도정을 만들겠다"고 강조했다.
도는 앞으로 정책자문위에서 제시된 의견을 주요 정책에 반영해 도민이 체감할 수 있는 도정을 만들겠다는 계획이다.

North Chungcheong Province has launched a Policy Advisory Committee to incorporate expert knowledge and perspectives from the field into key policies of the ninth popularly elected provincial administration.
On September 16, the provincial government held an appointment ceremony and inaugural plenary meeting for the Policy Advisory Committee at the Provincial Government Office, appointing Jang Il-sang, president of the North Chungcheong Branch of the Korea Women Consumers’ Federation, as chair of the committee.
The Policy Advisory Committee consists of 141 experts across 10 subcommittees: Planning and Administration; Safety and Fire Services; Health, Welfare and Women; Economy; AI and Science; Bioindustry; Agriculture and Livestock; Culture, Tourism and Sports; Balanced Regional Development; and Climate and Environment.
During the first half of the ninth elected administration, committee members will draw on their expertise and professional experience to provide advice on major provincial issues and policy directions, as well as propose new policy initiatives.
At the appointment ceremony, Governor Shin Yong-han personally presented certificates of appointment to the committee members and outlined the policy direction of the ninth provincial administration.
“I understand better than anyone how significant and demanding it is to ensure that voices from the field are reflected in public policy,” Governor Shin said. “Under the vision of ‘A Great Transformation of Chungbuk: Practical Governance for People’s Livelihoods,’ the ninth administration of North Chungcheong Province will pursue governance that prioritizes action over formality, direction over speed, and demonstrates its commitment through results rather than words.”
The provincial government plans to incorporate recommendations from the Policy Advisory Committee into major policies with the aim of delivering tangible improvements that residents can experience in their daily lives.
