10월 12일~13일 오후 1시부터 8시까지 잠실한강공원 내 사각사각플레이스에서 청년 예술가와 시민이 함께 만드는 ‘2024 사각사각 예술축제’가 개최된다.
‘사각사각플레이스’는 2018년 4월 잠실한강공원에 개장한 복합문화공간으로, 14개의 스튜디오와 야외무대, 캐노피 전시 공간 등으로 구성돼 있다. 영화, 미디어아트, 무용, 연극, 조형예술, 음악 등 다양한 분야의 청년 예술가들이 이곳에 입주해 창작활동을 하며 시민들과 소통할 수 있는 다채로운 문화·예술 프로그램을 선사하고 있다.
이번 2024 사각사각 예술축제는 ‘한강에 예술을 담다’라는 주제로 문화·예술 체험 및 전시, 다양한 장르의 공연, 시민 참여 이벤트 등이 펼쳐진다.
남녀노소, 가족·연인·친구 누구나 함께 즐길 수 있는 축제로, 특히 다수의 어린이 특화 프로그램이 준비돼 있어 어린아이를 동반한 가족이 나들이하기에 안성맞춤이다.

예술이 있는 사각사각 플레이스

사각사각플레이스 내 캐노피 아래에 마련된 야외전시 공간에는 안락한 빈백과 캠핑의자 등이 비치돼 시민들이 피크닉을 온 것처럼 편안한 분위기에서 예술작품을 감상할 수 있다. 새동전 작가의 핸드드로잉 전시부터 민수연 작가의 ‘Pool’ 작품전시, 건축 관련 전시등이 진행된다. (중략)

The 2024 Sagak Sagak Art Festival, jointly created by young artists and local citizens, will be held at Sagak Sagak Place in Jamsil Hangang Park from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on October 12 and 13.

Sagak Sagak Place is a multidisciplinary cultural venue that opened in Jamsil Hangang Park in April 2018. It consists of 14 studios, an outdoor stage, and a canopy-covered exhibition area. Young artists working across a wide range of disciplines—including film, media art, dance, theater, sculpture, and music—are based at the venue, where they pursue their creative practices and present diverse cultural and artistic programs that encourage interaction with the public.

Under the theme “Bringing Art to the Han River,” the 2024 Sagak Sagak Art Festival will feature hands-on cultural and artistic activities, exhibitions, performances spanning various genres, and public participation events.

Designed for visitors of all ages, the festival can be enjoyed by families, couples, and groups of friends. A large number of programs specifically tailored to children will also be available, making the event particularly suitable for families with young children.

Art at Sagak Sagak Place

The outdoor exhibition area beneath the canopy at Sagak Sagak Place will be furnished with comfortable beanbags and camping chairs, allowing visitors to enjoy artworks in a relaxed, picnic-like setting.

The exhibition program will include a hand-drawing exhibition by artist Saedongjeon, artist Min Soo-yeon’s “Pool,” and architecture-related exhibitions.
